I decided to pack everything up and spend the day outside! We had a blast!
This is "Sidewalk Chalk Paint". I saw it on Pinterest and had to try it out. The kids loved it!
Colors were much brighter than regular sidewalk chalk.
Super easy to make.......
2 Tablespoons cornstarch, 2 Tablespoons water, and 5 drops food coloring.
We are learning about different habitats this week. They loved playing with the sensory table outside!

I love your Mother's Day idea with the picture of the children holding the flowers in a frame. How did you do it and where did you get the frames?
ReplyDeleteThank you! Really easy!! I took pictures of my students with one arm extended and making a fist. (tell them to hold their fist like they are holding flowers for mom, you want the fist to be turned the correct way.) Use a utility knife to cut a small slit at the top and bottom of their fist on the photo. I used the 4 X 6 plastic frames from Wal-Mart. My sweet husband drilled a small hole at the top of each frame for the flower to stick out. Note: Pre-mark the top of each frame before drilling. Each photo will need a slightly different spot. Insert flower into hole in top of frame, then weave it in and out of the fist in the photo. I also cut 4 X 6 sheets of paper and had the kids write a message on it, I put this in the back of the frame. (It covers up the back of the stem and is a cherished memory of their writing).
